St. Martin’s Day Goose

Our chef, Jerker Albrechtsson, comes from southern Sweden where the tradition of eating goose on St. Martin’s Day is strong. He will create an experience to savour and you will be attended to by our restaurateur and team of dedicated waiters.
The goose dinner will be prepared in the authentic style and according to all the rules for this dish from southern Sweden.
You will be served classic black soup to whet the appetite and an autumn inspired soup as a starter. The main course is crispy roasted goose which has been slowly cooked in the oven, stuffed with a mixture of apples, prunes and thyme. For dessert you will, of course, be served an apple dish.
The day begins at 3 pm with an afternoon coffee in the guest house’s best room with its welcoming open fire. Enjoy the autumn air with a refreshing walk to the vantage point where you can almost see the plains of southern Sweden.
