Gimo Herrgård Hotel is situated deep in the forests of Northern Roslagen, north of Stockholm. It was the first manor house built in the Gustavian style, designed by architect Jean Eric Rehn in the 1760´s, a monument to the heyday of the Uppland ironworks.

Legendary Häckeberga Castle, which dates in part back to the 14th century enjoys a marvellous setting on one of seven small islands in Lake Häckeberga. The castle, which has been owned by the Tham family since 1824, was praised the writings of world-famous Swedish botanist and traveller, Linnaeus.
