Söderköping is a picturesque Östergötland town dating back to the year 1000, with Göta Canal flowing through the centre and St Anna’s archipelago and Ramunderberget in the neighbourhood. Until the 1500’s the town was one of Sweden’s most important trading centres. Kings and gentlemen gathered here, and Gustav Vasa often visited nearby Stegeborg.Besides a rich history and beautiful countryside Söderköping has been blessed with yet another attraction, namely Söderköping’s Brunn Hotel. This institution also has a long history, and was granted a royal charter as early as the time of Gustav III. After a complete renovation the Brunn is today a modern, high class hotel which has retained its old-fashioned charm.
Activities:
Söderköpings Brunn has a tradition of boat ownership and of organising trips on the river, Storån, in the archipelago and along Göta Canal. We would like to introduce M/S Lindön to our guests and anyone else who wants to enjoy a few hours on the water. She is a beautiful boat from the beginning of this century, whose first owner was the Russian Tsar Nicholas II. The food on board is of the same high quality as in the dining rooms at the Brunn hotel.M/S Lindön is available for charter from April to October. There are many opportunities for activities aboard our boats for both small and large groups.

Our kitchen is much appreciated and we aim to make each meal a delightful culinary experience! We use Swedish raw ingredients where possible, but also include more unusual dishes with an international flavour. Wine connoisseurs will not be disappointed when they leave our table, since we have wines from all the great wine districts in our cellar. Meals are served in different dining rooms in the restaurant, so that groups of all sizes can be catered for. Whether you choose plain home-cooking or a gourmet supper, we promise you will not be disappointed. Nor will you find anything lacking in our wines and spirits list.Book online
