Amazing location and experience

We bought a "Lillsemester paket" (little holidays), and everything was simply fantastic!
The gourmet food was an amazing experience, especially knowing that they went through the trouble to make us a vegetarian 4 course dinner, and due to this, they even added a dish with their cheese to make sure that we were full. The breakfast was delicious, and presented in such a beautiful manner.
The room in itself was stunning and extremely clean, and all products in the room were organic, which goes along with their ambition to have everything ecological and organic.
Considering that a family runs this business, we felt very welcomed through the service, as in our case it became somewhat more personal. It was obvious that they love this concept and running this business! It was also obvious that they cared about the visitors that came to the area.
One thing that we love was the possibility to be outdoors and check the animals that they had. The area is beautiful, even though we went there in winter. We are considering coming back in the summer for a picknick, when everything will be green and stunning and swedish country side usually is.

Sehr schönes, wunderbar designtes Zimmer. Ruhig. Wenig Stauraum für Kleider, für längeren Aufenthalt unpraktisch.
Essen ausgezeichnet.
Insgesamt war der Service sehr gut.

Jaja, det ÄR ekologiskt...

Ängavallen är en helt och hållet ekologisk anläggning. Det är hedervärt på alla sätt, men det kändes som att man ältade det i allt. T ex, vinpaketet till middagen - där var var viktigare att visa på flaskan att vinet var ekologiskt än att berätta om dess egenskaper. Samma sak vid frukosten. Jag hade hellre läst på de små skyltarna om var frukostjuicen kom ifrån (närodlat eller Spanien, det är ju viss skillnad, tycker jag) än att den var ekologisk.
Incheckningsproceduren kändes en smula vimsig men i det stora hela är vi nöjda med rummet, maten och mottagandet och inte minst de underbara grisarna man kunde hälsa på!
