The mannor was buildt in 1762 and many of the original details are saved from this century. The legens and the myth says that the housewife from the 18:th centure are visiting the Mannor and watching over the staff och hunting the bad gost away.Activities:

Schenströmska manor has hosted many weddings and we have organized many successful wedding receptions. The wedding dinner is served in our light saloon housing up to 110 seated guests, Here You can enjoy a well composed menu, which You are able to decide upon together with our chef. When evidently tired You will sleep in our Hästens beds and wake up for a breakfast or brunch.A wedding is an experience for the bridal couple as well as for their guests. It´s important with good food, matching wine, the lay of the table and nice flowers. Let us be of assistance and make this special day an unforgettable memory. Schenströmska Herrgården is located in the peaceful history-surroundings from 1762.From Västerås city it takes about 30 minutes by car and the train will take about 35 minutes. From the airport in Västerås it will take aprox 45 minutes by the car to get to us. The manor is surrounded of water and you can go for a trip by our sailingboat Naja from 1912, ore our ship M/S Strömsholm take a twe our trip down the canal and pass through several locks.
