Find Hestraviken Hotel & Spa
From Malmö:
Drive E6 to Halmstad and then road 26 towards Jönköping. 15 km north of Gislaved turn right on road 151. After just 1 km you find Hestraviken on the right hand side.
From Gothenburg:
Take road 40 towards Borås and then road 27 towards Karlskrona. Turn left on road 151 towards Grimsås and Hestra. In Hestra turn left by the petrol station and drive out of Hestra. Cross road no 26 and after 1 km you find Hestraviken on the right hand side.
From Stockholm:

Mountainbike i Isaberg
In recent years, Hestra in Småland has established itself as one of the country’s best areas for cycling and mountain biking. The facility at Isaberg offers trails for mtb fully comparable to those you find in the Swedish mountains. If you don’t have your own bike, you have the option of renting mountain bikes for both children and adults.
Go canoeing and boating
The river Nissan that flows through the Hestraviken plot and its lake system invites you to canoe and boat trips. Think how wonderful it is to glide quietly over shiny lakes and gentle rapids. Several small islands with barbecue areas for picnics and sandy beaches for swimming are easily accessible.
Hiking at Hestraviken and Isaberg
Hike to the top of Isaberg, around Lake Algustorpa or just a short walk on our trails along the lakes by the hotel. There are also really long trails to follow such as the Järnbärarleden which goes to Gnosjö and the Gislavedsleden which is 10 miles long from Kinnared in the south to Isaberg in the north.
Golfing
3 km from Hestraviken is Isaberg Golf Club. Here you are offered two of Sweden’s most beautiful and most appreciated golf courses. The courses are located in the old mill environment at Nissafors mill and are surrounded by forest and water.
Stora Mosse National Park
Store Mosse National Park is 30 minutes by car from Hestraviken and is the largest untouched marshland south of Lapland. The vegetation is similar to the Norrland wilderness and has over 40 km of hiking trails on paths and branches.

Isaberg’s downhill slopes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced cyclists. From the “Pelikanen”, a green trail from the top (2 km) for the whole family, to the black “No Mercy” for those who like bigger challenges.
Tobogganing on Isaberg
This is a 1000 meter ride that you can really enjoy to the fullest because you set the speed yourself. Depending on whether you love speed or are more cautious and want to take the downhill.
