Hotell Magasin 1 is our little gem located in Mörbylånga harbor on Öland. The former harbor depot has been renovated and now has fifteen comfortable rooms, a family-atmosphere lounge and a restaurant focusing on local and Swedish ingredients.
Mörbylånga is a small but vibrant community by the sea, just south of the Öland Bridge. A perfect starting point for discovering Öland. Here you can start the day with an invigorating breakfast and perhaps a morning swim in Kalmarsund. After an exciting day, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset, go for a walk, enjoy your dinner overlooking the strait, or just relax in a comfortable armchair. Öland offers wonderful experiences at all times of year, and we welcome guests all year round. Our restaurant is open all summer and some weekends in spring and autumn. The rest of the year, the restaurant is open to hotel guests on Tuesday to Saturday evening.
We who live here love Öland, and we are fond of saying that you can experience everything here. Perhaps we exaggerate a bit, but if you like nature, museums and art, crafts, relaxation, swimming, good food, and lovely cafes, then we promise that you will find a lot to experience here. Feel free to ask us – talking about our island is just about our favorite thing to do.

Nice cozy hotel with a family feel. Great with an elevator as our dog doesn’t like stairs. Extra nice that the dog could join us for dinner and breakfast. Will be happy to come back.

We were 8 people in the group and ordered different dishes in the evening. It was fantastically delicious and everything was served with a smile and at the same time. Sunny 🌞 and wonderfully quiet place with good personal service. Really recommend Magasin1.

Homely and very good hotel. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in early June, and are very happy with everything. Our room was perfect, with a small balcony facing the sea. The food was so good that we ate there every night. The best thing was the incredibly nice staff who advised on places to visit and created a homely calm.
