Welcome home to us at Hotel Järvsöbaden – originally founded 1905 as a wellness guest-house by the forefather of the 3rd and 4th generation Pehrson, who are presently runing the hotel. In 1935, the old health facilities turned into a more cultivated family hotel. For more than 100 years this flagship hotel has been run with great pride and joy by the same family.
The kitchen at Hotell Järvsöbaden uses local ingredients as far as possible with fruit, berries and vegetables from their own garden. Järvsö strives for ecological and social sustainability.
Located in the middle of Hälsingland’s magnificent nature, Järvsö – the pearl of this cultural landscape – offers year-round opportunities for recreation and activities for all tastes.
Hotel Järvsöbaden’s spa department
In their old potato cellar, it has been furnished with a refreshing cold bath where the water ripples from its own spring in Öjaberget. For those who want a little more warmth, there is a jacuzzi as well as a steam and dry sauna to enjoy. There is also an outdoor pool here.

Järvsöbaden Golf Club is right next to the hotel. It is a hilly park course consisting of nine playing fields, three par four and six par three holes. It offers both difficulty and exciting gameplay, both for beginners and advanced players.

“Very nice old-fashioned hotel with beautiful surroundings. Reception nice and familiar. Large old nice dining room with buffet service where you can choose the number of dishes you want to eat. White tablecloths and correct serving staff with old style. Gym ok with few tools. Large spa facility in the basement. Room ok but quite small with a small TV. Nice view of the garden. No elevator. Bathroom fresh. Breakfast with, among other things, self-made jam and a machine for making juice. In addition, warm milk for coffee. This hotel can definitely be recommended.”
