Hotel Montagne has 12 different and individually furnished hotel rooms with a high standard. Some rooms are larger and more luxurious, others a little smaller and more intimate, but all with their own special charm. The rooms are either with a view of the beautiful Åmmelången or towards the charming park along the river that connects Åmmelången and Lake Vättern. From here you can also see the old bowling alley, the water tower or the locomotive shed; all with a proud history from the time when the mining company Vielle Montagne built up Åmmeberg in the middle of the 19th century.
With the mixture of parquet, marble floors and beautiful carpets on the floors as well as stucco and crystal chandeliers in the ceilings, we offer an environment out of the ordinary. We believe you will appreciate our special and personal environment.

Hargebaden, also called Närke’s Riviera, is a long sandy beach with shallow water. Here there are jetties, jumping tower, WC and changing rooms. There is also a restaurant on the beach that is open during the summer. Proximity to a heated swimming pool with a water slide. 19 minutes by car.
Tiveden National Park
Here, in one of Southern Sweden’s wildest forests, you can hike in chaotic boulder fields with rock blocks up to 10 meters high that have come with the ice sheet. There are also many exciting caves and several beautiful wilderness lakes here.
