Nääs Fabriker Hotel & Restaurant is beautifully situated right next to lake Sävelången in a cotton mill from the 1900s century. Nääs Fabriker Hotel & Restaurant is a historic mill setting catering a successful hotel, shops and office space in a beautiful environment in Tollered right by the lake Sävelången. Nääs Fabriker Hotel & Restaurant is owned by the real estate company Ernst Rosen since 1990, and has since the start been developed and refined.
The development of Nääs Fabriker Hotel & Restaurant is characterized by attention to every little detail and respectful preservation of the original 19th and the early 20th architecture. The interior of both the hotels and the conference facilities are imbued with a consistent, beautiful design with the finest materials and lavish details. Find Nääs Fabriker Hotel
Nääs Fabriker is located 30 minutes by car from Landvetter Airport. If you are driving from Gothenburg, follow E20 towards Alingsås/Stockholm and, after about 30 minutes, pull of the road by the Tollered/Nääs Fabriker exit. From Alingsås, it is a short 10 minute drive.
There are also community trains from both Alingsås and Gothenburg. Jump of at Floda and take the bus (number 561 and 533) to Tollered/Nääs Fabriker.

“A nice and cozy place to stay, swim in hot baths, sauna and eat food in a nice restaurant with service minded staff.
The hotel rooms house an old former spinning mill where you can guess the historical wings of the past which are also told with information signs. The rooms are well insulated but have a cozy old creaking floor left. Good breakfast that had what you wanted. Nice area around the hotel with shops and bakery.“

The coffee town Alingsås
Alingsås is a really cozy town that is known for its many and cozy cafes, a total of 25 of them. The café culture in Alingsås goes back all the way to the middle of the 18th century. Then the city’s son, Jonas Alströmer, started his textile manufactory. The local women got employment and no longer had time to bake their own bread. Alingså’s unique café culture is said to emerge from this. Perfect for a day trip!
Nolhaga park
In Nolhagaparken in Alingsås there is a large playground and also Nolhaga Djurpark, which is an animal and bird park. Take a walk through the park and visit the donkeys, mouflon sheep, horses and all the other animals. In Nolhaga there is one of Sweden’s northernmost beech forests, a viewpoint and the beautiful Nolhaga castle with a park, allotment gardens and an exciting primeval forest area “Kongo” where everything is allowed to grow in peace.
Nääs castle park and the angel swings
Nääs Castle is located a few hundred meters from Nääs Fabriker, on the other side of lake Sävelången. The estate, which dates back to the 16th century, was bought in 1825 by Peter Wilhelm Berg, the same man who a few years later founded Nääs Fabriker. The castle is open for viewing during the summer months. The landscape around the castle with a. an English park and beautiful deciduous forest, inviting for walks. Here there are large free areas to run on, belly-tickling angel swings and tug-of-war.
Tollered’s cinema
Welcome to Sweden’s smallest cinema! Quality films from all over the world are shown here, everything from dramas and documentaries to music films, comedies and children’s and youth films. During the summer, Tollereds Biograf, together with Lerum Municipality, organizes free film screenings and workshops during the summer.
Sjölykkan canoe center
Experience the charm of enjoying nature from a canoe. Imagine the feeling of cleaving a mirror-like surface or forcing foaming waves and when the evening comes falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to a new day of paddling and life in the great outdoors. In Tollered there is one of Sweden’s most popular lake systems with no less than eight interconnected lakes, which are made for paddling.
Floda center
A stone’s throw from Nääs Fabriker is Floda, and in the center of Floda there are wonderful excursion destinations such as Garveriet, which offers coffee, lunch options and shopping in the shops in the area. There is also a playground called the Spider Forest, here you can swing, ride the slide, hide in a fly mushroom or why not climb the giant spider and climb the spider web.
Vattenpalatset
The Water Palace (vattenpalatset) in Lerum is the funhouse for the whole family with experiences for young and old. You are offered free parking and good communications by bus and local train. Then there is also Nolhaga Parkbad in the heart of Nolhagaparken, Alingsås. Here you can exercise in two 25-meter pools, let the children play in the adventure pool or unwind in the relaxation area’s pools, saunas and lounge furniture. There is also a cafe here.
Gotaleden
Gotaleden is a hiking trail consisting of 9 stages and offers a total of 7 miles of scenic and varied hiking. The trail stretches from Kungsportsplatsen in Gothenburg to Lilla Torget in Alingsås. The trail is bidirectional and you can easily reach the various stages from commuter train stations along the route. The Gotaleden is an enjoyable hiking trail where you can have coffee, eat and stay comfortably in several places and experience sights. The trail passes a few smaller towns but mainly goes through forest and nature. Along the trails there are simpler campsites and shelters from the wind. The Gotaleden is marked with blue trail markers on trees or poles.
Bruksorten Tollered
One of Sweden’s best-preserved mining sites. Stroll around among beautiful houses in a picturesque setting and read your way through the town and its history on signs posted on facades and buildings. It is also possible to book a historical walk through the central parts of the mill site with stories about the homes and factory buildings. The stories take up the history of the factory and life in the place where it was used, and we look into one or a couple of buildings. Booked via bokning@naasfabriker.se or 031-799 63 10.
