Strandhotellet – A Historical Gem by the Sea

Strandhotellet carries a rich history with its beautiful turn-of-the-century character and charming architecture.

When the hotel first opened its doors in 1907, it served as an annex to the once grand Badhotellet, which was a popular retreat for Stockholm’s high society. In the 1930s, the original Badhotellet building was torn down and replaced with the hotel building that stands there today.

Today, Strandhotellet is a well-preserved and carefully renovated building that exudes authenticity and a sense of the archipelago. The interior is timeless, inspired by the colors and rocks of the archipelago, with carefully selected materials that create a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere. The most recent renovation has refined the hotel’s unique character and preserved its historical soul.

Badhotellet – Modern Accommodation by the Sea

Badhotellet is our largest hotel building, easily recognizable by its yellow brick facade. The hotel is beautifully located right on the shoreline, only 50 meters from Strandhotellet, with the sea as a constant companion.

The rooms at Badhotellet have a warm and cozy feel with modern touches. The decor is inspired by the so-called “Nynäska Riviera,” where the color scheme of walnut and sunshine yellow creates a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that reflects the coastal environment.

On the ground floor, you’ll find our conference rooms, all with fantastic sea views, making Badhotellet the perfect place for both relaxation and inspiring meetings.

Nynäs Historic Spa & Bath

Welcome to the Havspaviljong, as we now call the old Kallbadhuset. Beautifully located on stilts in the water with the horizon as a backdrop. Here, relaxation awaits for all the senses with a warm indoor pool, a calm relaxation area, and organic treatments from Maria Åkerberg.

Outside on the pier, there is a warm sitting pool and a sauna house with a steam sauna, wood-fired sauna, and low-temperature sauna with a sea view. For winter swimmers, an ice hole is kept open when the cold arrives.

In the bar, you can order something refreshing and light snacks. Age limit: 15 years, but during school holidays, it may be lower.
